• Drains backing up, food debris accumulation: Chattanooga area restaurant inspection reports for week ending Dec. 23, 2025 (timesfreepress.com) — If you eat out around Chattanooga, this week’s health inspection scores highlight where inspectors found problems like backed-up floor drains, food debris buildup, and hand-washing lapses, along with many perfect scores. The report covers restaurants and food trucks across Hamilton County and nearby Georgia counties, and includes the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department complaint line for concerned diners.

• Curbside Compost Pilot Expands (wdef.com) — Chattanooga is expanding its curbside compost and glass recycling pilot to Missionary Ridge, Ridgedale, and Highland Park, with collections starting in January 2026.
