- Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly and his administration report that they are still searching for alternative sites for the Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute. The project will be replacing the existing facility with a $265 million facility in Hamilton County. The city has submitted various proposals for various sites including a property adjacent to Chattanooga's wellness center. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- Tennessee Aquarium's annual Holidays Under the Peaks celebration will begin on Saturday, Dec. 3. SCUBA Claus will be supporting the facility's underwater friends by spreading some holiday cheer in the facility's freshwater exhibits. He'll make an appearance at 2:00 p.m. for the celebration. Miguel Wattson, the electric eel, will serve as the celebration's designated tree lighter. (WZTV)
- Hamilton County's new Early Childhood Action Plan will be helping local families find quality services. The three-year plan will be focused on quality health, education, and childcare services. The plan will hopefully boost student performance in Hamilton County Schools. (MyFox Chattanooga)
