Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:
- Chattanooga State will be hosting Boeing representatives on Tuesday, Sep. 13 for a career fair. The representatives will be distributing information while discussing career opportunities with interested individuals. The event will be in Room 182 of the Center for Engineering, Technology And Sciences (CETAS) building on the main campus (4501 Amnicola Hwy) at 5:30 p.m. RSVP is required. (The Chattanoogan)
- Hamilton County EMS transported a woman to a local hospital after she fell at Paradise Falls. The 60-year-old woman reportedly slipped on some rocks and sustained injuries. Responding crews needed to carry her about a mile out of the wooded area. (The Chattanoogan)
- Chattanooga will be receiving funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to reduce the number of youth experiencing homelessness. The $2.3 million grant will be distributed to 33 different communities across the country. The coordinated community plan will be assisting young adults between 18 and 25 years old.
