  1. Brickuniverse LEGO Fan Event will be held on Jan. 28 and Jan. 29 at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The event will feature creations by professional LEGO artists. The artists will be on-site meeting with attendees. This year's event will include new attractions, such as a building area and Star Wars-themed LEGO bricks. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. The Chattanooga City Council has approved an interim city attorney. Phillip Noblett has litigated city matters for over 25 years. and will assume the interim position. He has worked with multiple mayors and council members during that time. The City of Chattanooga is currently accepting applications for the permanent positions. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. The Chattanooga City Council reports that enforcement will be the primary focus before altering vacation rental regulations. Proposed changes would eliminate designated areas for vacation rentals while creating citywide regulations based on zoning. The city is struggling to regulate the rentals by council district, according to Mayor Tim Kelly's senior adviser for legislative affairs. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
