If you are a rising high school junior from the Marion County area who is interested in a career focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, better known as a STEM career, Polytech Academy at Kimball may be just the right fit for you.

Chattanooga State’s Early College department will host an upcoming open house for Polytech Academy at Kimball on two dates, Tuesday, March 1 and Monday, March 7 beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT at the Chattanooga State Kimball Site, 2100 Main Street, Kimball, 37347.

Polytech Academy at Kimball is a collaboration between the Marion County Department of Education and Chattanooga State Community College featuring a unique blend of high school and college courses designed to give students a jump start on their college education and career paths.

Advantages for students enrolled in Polytech Academy at Kimball include completing high school requirements while earning college credit, hands-on training, tutors, completing a Chattanooga State associate of applied science degree in Chemical Engineering Technology or Engineering Systems Management in just two short semesters after graduation, learning the skills employers seek, and gaining experience through active learning.
