Wreaths Across Chattanooga honors fallen Veterans (wdef.com) — Hundreds of Chattanooga volunteers just placed wreaths on veterans’ graves at Chattanooga National Cemetery, honoring fallen service members through Wreaths Across Chattanooga. Organizers say about 4,000 people helped, but not every grave was covered, and they’re now pushing to fund and place 51,000 wreaths so every service member buried there is remembered next year.
   

2. 1 injured, 1 facing charges after an argument led to shots fired in Chattanooga Saturday (newschannel9.com) — Chattanooga police say a 19-year-old was shot during an argument on East 25th Street Court Saturday afternoon, suffering minor injuries but making it to the hospital by car. Officers arrested Marvin Williams, who now faces charges including aggravated domestic assault, attempted first-degree murder, and reckless endangerment as the investigation continues.

Red Wolves Foundation hosts Christmas Gift Program (wdef.com) — Families from across Hamilton County gathered at CHI Memorial Stadium as the Chattanooga Red Wolves Foundation handed out Christmas gifts, essentials, and breakfast with Santa to local students. Organizers say the annual Chattanooga event is rapidly growing and aims to deepen year-round partnerships with schools like East Ridge Elementary to better support kids and build community connections.
   

4. Kennedy: Mississippi photographer documents the South (timesfreepress.com) — A young Mississippi photographer now living in Chattanooga is building a book of portraits and stories that challenge stereotypes about Southern life, drawing on people she’s meeting across the region. She plans to stay in Chattanooga until May as she finishes the project, saying the city has been a rich place to find diverse voices and personal histories.
