  1. Christmas Village at Chattanooga's New Hope Church is scheduled for this Saturday. The popular market will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a wide selection of vendors available to meet participants' holiday shopping needs.   2. Hamilton County health officials are encouraging residents to get the flu vaccine. The state has been ranked by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an area with high flu activity. Tennessee has been given the "purple" indication for the "highest level of influenza-like illness" on the nationwide flu tracker. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. Commissioner Greg Martin claims that one of the re-appointments for the Hamilton County Contractors Board of Appeals and Adjustments is deceased. The contractor is from Hixson and allegedly died during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp reports that he will be checking out the situation. (The Chattanoogan)
