  1. Chattanooga's youth are joining Cub Scouts in increased numbers. New scouts typically join in the fall during the start of the new school year. Chattanooga's youth are reportedly joining at double the rate compared to last year. The packs report that they will continue to take as many new scouts as possible but spots are filling up fast.   2. The Chattanooga Historical Society is expanding its programming through new funds from the Tennessee Arts Commission. The society will use the Arts Build Communities Grant to fund the creation of its Photography Summer Camp. The program is meant for students between the ages of 12 and 18.   3. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reports that an adult and a child were accidentally shot while hunting in Chattanooga. The incident occurred on Thursday at the North Chickamauga Creek Varner unit. The agency is reportedly investigating the shooting. (WTVC)
