  1. Christ Church Episcopal Church in Chattanooga has been awarded a historical preservation grant. The grant is worth $35,000 and was presented by the Tennessee State Historic Preservation Office. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in April 2021. (News Channel 9)
  2. Chattanooga has been selected to serve as an apprenticeship opportunity hub. There will be five communities in the United States that will serve as apprenticeship opportunity hubs. Chattanooga will be receiving $1.6 million over the next four years to create and expand apprenticeship programs. BuiltWithin will be providing the program's software. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. The Hamilton County Unmanned Aerial Systems Team has unveiled a new command vehicle. The unveiling was held at McDonald Farm in Sale Creek on Wednesday. The new command vehicle was funded through a $168,000 investment from both the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and Hamilton County Emergency Management. The vehicle will be able to provide internet through self-sustaining power. (The Chattanoogan)
