  1. Chattanooga will be using $1.4 million in federal pandemic funds to launch a new minority business resource center. The facility will be located at the Kelly Building on East M.L. King Blvd. The center will reportedly act as a hub of resources for minority entrepreneurs. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  2. The Chattanooga Police Department responded to an East Martin Luther King Boulevard shooting on Sunday morning. The incident occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m. The shooting victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the altercation. Anthony Lively, 39, was arrested by the department. (Local 3 News)
  3. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has been scattering packets of oral rabies vaccines from Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport's Lovell Field. The vaccine will prevent raccoons from spreading the deadly virus through the country's wildlife. The program is distributing the vaccine in 13 different states. (Sumter Item)
