Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:
- The Chattanooga Police Department has released the names of the officers who were reassigned due to sustained allegations of untruthfulness. The list includes 10 officers. The officers were reassigned on Aug. 17. The decision included 15 officers but the department has not released the list of the five officers who were added after the internal audit. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- The Chattanooga Police Department is currently investigating an incident that resulted in three individuals being stabbed on Tuesday. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of E. 23rd Street. The individuals were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and a suspect has been detained. (WDEF)
- The Hamilton County Democratic Party has donated items to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen and Room in the Inn. The items included toiletries, clothing, and various goods meant to support individuals without permanent housing. The items were collected through the organization's Hamilton County Democrats Care project which was launched in July. (The Chattanoogan)
