Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. The Tennesse Aquarium will be unveiling its new Ridges to Rivers Exhibit on Wednesday, Mar. 1. Plans for the new exhibit began more than two years ago, according to Manager of Exhibit Services Jeff Worley. "The process started about brainstorming, trying to come up with a big idea. What could we do to make our sturgeon exhibit bigger and better," said Worley. (WDEF News 12)
  2. Auschwitz survivor Michael Bornstein shared his experiences of being a child during the Holocaust during an event with hundreds of students at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Thursday. Bornstein's presentation was part of this month's Chattanooga Public Library's Americans and the Holocaust traveling exhibit, which comes from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. 3. The Chattanooga Gas Foundation recently gifted $50,000 to Chattanooga Room in the Inn, an organization that helps to provide free housing and necessary services to women and children who are experiencing homelessness.
