🌱 Teen Charged In String Of Fires + Double Shooting Investigation

Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:

  1. The Chattanooga Fire Department's Investigations Division has charged a 13-year-old with allegedly setting a string of fires. The incidents occurred in the Woodmore area of Chattanooga. The juvenile was found by the Chattanooga Police Department hiding behind a house on East Avenue. He has been booked into the Juvenile Detention Center. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. The Tennessee Arts Commission has awarded the Chattanooga Historical Society with an Arts Build Communities grant. The funds will be used to support the Society's summer program offerings. The Society's mission is to make history accessible to the community while preserving the region's history. (Chattanooga Pulse)
  3. The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred on Trewhitt St. The two individuals were taken to a local hospital on Tuesday night for treatment. The department is asking the community to come forward with any information regarding the double shooting incident. (WTVC)
