  1. The Tennessee Public Utility Commission has approved a $6.8 million rate adjustment after completing the annual Chattanooga Gas review. The rate adjustment will reportedly allow the company to recover costs incurred during 2021. The company enhanced safety, improved reliability, and expanded during 2021 in the Chattanooga region. The typical customer will have their bill increased by about $4.20 each month. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. The Chattanooga Police Department has arrested a stabbing suspect. The suspect allegedly stabbed a man in the 5000 block of Hixson Pike on Saturday. The victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The name of the suspect has not been released by the department. (News Channel 9)
  3. The Chattanooga Police Department reports that one individual died during a crash on Lee Highway. The incident occurred on Monday morning near Bonny Oaks. The victim has been identified as Alfredo Wilson, but the cause of the crash is still under investigation. (WTVC)
