Belligerent Blade-Bearing Broadway Barfly Bonked By Bouncer: Police
A man kicked out of a Lower Broadway bar attacked the bouncer who gave him the boot and got a black eye for his effort, according to police.
NASHVILLE, TN — A 31-year-old man left Lower Broad Monday night with a bar tab, a black eye, a sore head and a felony charge.
According to an affidavit, Daniel Albright was harassing a woman at The Valentine on Lower Broadway and was asked by a member of the bar's security staff to leave the bar. About 10 minutes later, the bouncer said he saw Albright sauntering back towards him.

"You messed up," Albright told the bouncer, according to the police report, and then pulled out a knife.
Afeared, the bouncer "grabbed the suspect by both arms and throw him to the ground," according to the affidavit.

"The suspect suffered injuries to his head as a result of being thrown to the ground," it continues, perhaps stating the obvious.
Two witnesses corroborated the bouncer's story, according to police.
Albright was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and then booked on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon upon his release. He is being held on a $15,000 bond.
