Tennessee announces $42M for pedestrian, bike, and transit safety project (fox17.com) — Nashville residents are weighing in on how a new $42 million statewide fund for walking, biking, and transit safety should reach dangerous local streets, including Germantown. A newly installed HAWK signal follows a deadly crash, while Metro officials log hundreds of missing crosswalks. TDOT hasn’t yet said whether Nashville will receive a share of the grants.
   

5. OZ Arts Nashville faces major funding gap after federal arts grant is canceled (newschannel5.com) — A major federal grant cancellation has left OZ Arts Nashville scrambling to cover a $45,000 funding gap that was supposed to reimburse early‑2025 programming.
