Multi-Generational Hermitage Marijuana Ring Busted: Police

Metro Police arrested four people and seized pot, stolen guns and cash at a Hermitage home.

HERMITAGE, TN — Metro Police busted what is apparently a multi-generational drug dealing operation run out of a Hermitage home.

Acting on a tip from a neighbor, undercover officers went to a home in the 3600 block of Andrew Jackson Way around 4 p.m. Tuesday and said they smelled marijuana and saw a man leap from a second-story window. Police returned to the home Wednesday and arrested Terry Arnold Sr., 65; Terry Arnold Jr., 35; Taylor Arnold, 21; and a 17-year-old girl.

Inside the home, police said they found a half pound of marijuana and five guns — a Bushmaster AR-15, Mossberg .22-caliber AR rifle, Glock 19 handgun, a Smith and Wesson 1911 pistol and a Ruger 9-millimeter handgun. The 1911 and the Ruger had both been reported stolen, according to investigators. Police also seized nearly $1,700 cash.

The Arnold men were all charged with marijuana possession with intent to sell, weapon possession during the commission of a felony and felony theft.

The girl is charged in juvenile court with marijuana possession with intent to sell, felony theft and unlawful weapon possession.
