Former Predators goalie Chris Mason, who earned widespread praise for his insightful work as a part-time analyst on the radio broadcasts, will move to TV and take over for color man Stu Grimson alongside play-by-play voice Willy Daunic. Grimson worked as the analyst for three years, replacing beloved avuncular ex-player and coach Terry Crisp. Grimson was the radio analyst for six years before that.
Meanwhile, former Predators defenseman Hal Gill will replace ex-Predators coach Brent Peterson as the radio color man, working with the iconic Pete Weber, who moved from TV to radio three years ago. TV rinkside reporter Lyndsay Rowley will continue in that role for road games, but will host pre- and post-game shows and intermission segments for home games alongside Crispy, while former WKRN reporter Kara Hammer will handle the rinkside duties for home games.
