Deputies say clear photos taken by the victims helped identify the 30-year-old man from Nashville, who is accused of retrieving gold coins purchased under false pretenses. 3. Historic bells removed from East Nashville church to begin restoration process (wsmv.com) — Historic Centennial Bells at the former Tulip Street United Methodist Church in East Nashville have been lifted from their tower to begin a major restoration. East End United Methodist, which moved in after losing its church to the 2020 tornado, is raising $400,000 through its Rebirth on Russell campaign to restore the bells, renovate the building, and eventually return their sound to the neighborhood.

TWRA opens annual wildlife photo contest (wkrn.com) — Based in Nashville, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is inviting photographers statewide to submit wildlife shots for its 2026–27 calendar and license cards, with cash stipends for selected images.
