Arlington ISD Athletics Center to host Father FEST on May 20, 2023
SAVE THE DATE: Father FEST, great family-friendly event, is set to take place on May 20 at the Arlington ISD Athletics Center

Arlington – Arlington ISD decided to once again organize the well-known event Father FEST which usually takes place at the end of the school year. This year, the Father FEST event is set to take place on May 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Arlington ISD Athletics Center. (1001 E. Division St. Arlington, TX 76011).
The family-friendly outdoor event marks the end of the school year, but it’s also a great opportunity to kick off the summer.
“While families enjoy the fun, they also strengthen bonds as they create memories,” said Johnathane Gaffney of Arlington ISD’s family and community engagement department.

Although the event will take place at the Arlington ISD Athletics Center, Father FEST is not only for Arlington ISD students and their closest family relatives. According to Dallas Metro News, Father FEST is open to everyone, regardless of whether they live in Arlington or attend Arlington ISD.
Organizers say that attendees will have a lot of fun and can choose between fun interactive family activities, tasty food, or simply listening to live music. In addition, there will be giveaways and prizes. The free outdoor event is all about a fun celebration of fatherhood and families and equipping families for success, while spending quality time your loved ones. The Father FEST organization stemmed from Arlington ISD Dads Engaged for Excellence members’ initiative.

The event continues to gather more attention as growing number of local community organizations and companies decide to directly support the organization behind the Father FEST event. Metro Sports Fieldhouse, Arlington ISD Early Childhood Department, Arlington ISD Library Services Department, Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA Central Branch, My Health My Resources, GICE Loves, Smith Media Company, Texas Health and Human Services, The Deyvi Coreas Jr. Foundation, Janes Academy of Dance Excellence, Vox Invictus Mentoring and Academia Tutoring are only part of the supporters whose representatives already confirmed their attendance at Father FEST in May.
