ARLINGTON, TX — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

July 4 Festivities
What: Light Up Arlington
Where: Downtown Arlington (101 W. Abram St.)

When: 6 p.m., July 3
The City of Arlington's 4th of July festival will take place on 57 acres surrounding City Hall and the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library and will feature live music, vendors, food trucks and kid-friendly fun and activities. The evening will be capped off by a 20-minute fireworks display beginning at 9:50 p.m.

When: 9 a.m., July 4
The parade is the oldest event held in the City of Arlington and billed as one of the biggest 4th of July parades in the state. The theme for this year is "E Pluribus Unum – Out of Many, One," and tens of thousands of people are expected to line the street to watch the procession of colorful floats, antique cars, marching bands, unicyclists and other creative entries.
