Arlington - In a significant step to revamp the 14-year-old AT&T Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys have officially submitted plans to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Dallas Metro News reported.

The papers outline a $180 million investment focused on updating the stadium's premium clubs and suites with new furnishings and finishes.

Scheduled to begin on January 2, 2024, the interior makeover is part of a larger $295 million renovation plan, previously announced, that is expected to complete by July 2025. This marks a new era for the stadium.

Further details of the renovation plan are still to be unveiled, but additional projects are in the pipeline. These include upgrades to the AT&T Stadium video board and the expansion and relocation of concession and merchandise stalls.

HKS Inc., the original architectural firm that designed the stadium, is set to oversee the upcoming renovations. Their involvement adds a sense of continuity to the stadium's transformation.
