University of Texas at Arlington adapts summer 2023 operating hours

Arlington, Texas - The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) has announced revisions to the summer 2023 operating schedules of its primary facilities and services, according to Dallas Metro News.

This initiative is part of the university's ongoing commitment to meet the evolving needs of its campus community, ensuring continuous, optimal access to its essential premises and services.

The modified operating hours for the summer term apply to a number of institutions, including the Maverick Activities Center, UTA Bookstore, University Advising Center, Central Library, Health Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, FabLab, The Market at the University Center, and the Commons Maverick Café. The Maverick Activities Center:

• Operational from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
• Closed on Saturday.
• Open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The UTA Bookstore:

• Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
• Operational from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
• Closed on Sunday.

The University Advising Center:

• Available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday.

The Central Library:

• Open from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. from Monday through Thursday.
• Operational from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.
• Available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
• Open from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Sunday (with adjustments to 9 a.m. to midnight on June 18).
• Closed on June 19 and July 4.

Health Services:

• Services available by appointment only, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
• Pharmacy: Operational from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a closure for one hour during lunch.
• Immunization Clinic: Available from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Counseling and Psychological Services:
