Xplor® Preschool & School Age Care Summer Campers Hold Food Drive

Campers held a food drive to benefit community members in need

Summer campers at Xplor Preschool & School Age Care in Crowley recently held a food drive to benefit Harvest House in Burleson, which provides basic necessities, encouragement, education, and care to individuals and families in the community. Over the past few weeks, campers worked together to collect nonperishable food items for local children and families in need. At the conclusion of the food drive, students delivered the items to the organization.

Xplor Preschool & School Age Care instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Its signature Links to Learning preschool curriculum emphasizes social-emotional learning as a stepping stone for kindergarten and beyond, working with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
