- A Dallas man is facing charges after a traffic stop in Plano caught him with over 6,000 fentanyl pills and a gun. Eduardo Reyes, being held on a $402,500 bond, was stopped on Friday, Feb. 10 and consented to a search of his vehicle, which revealed the drugs and a weapon. (WFAA.com)
- A Dallas Independent School District teacher sprang into action when a pregnant parent went into labor while at the school. Maria Perez Carabello, who had previously worked as a doctor in obstetrics and gynecology in Venezuela, helped deliver the baby at the school when it was determined that there was not enough time for the woman to reach a hospital.
