- On Thursday, Apr. 13, a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed as he was walking down the street in the Southeast Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas. Dallas police say that the teenage boy was found with a gunshot wound around 8:15 p.m. on Highland Hills Drive. The boy was immediately taken to the hospital and eventually died from his injuries. - Recently, Taste Atlas included a Dallas restaurant on their list of the best fried chicken in the world. Bubba's "Cooks Country" was given the No. 6 spot on the list and serves as a retro diner converted from a 1929 Texaco service station. The restaurant is located in the Highland Park area and guarantees to provide guests with delicious fried chicken that features a Southern twist. (KDAF)
