Dallas: A Dead Victim, A Dead Suspect, And A Terrorist Twist?
Here's the latest from Dallas, delivered right to your inbox.

Good morning, Dallas! It's Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Your Headlines: Neither Garland nor Plano police are ready to say why a gunman opened fire on the Lyft driver who answered his call Sunday. Now she's dead, and the suspect has been shot and killed after he shot up Plano police headquarters a short while later. At the center of it all: a mysterious note that could explain whether it was an act of terrorism. The case is now in the hands of the FBI.
In other news, the city has now revising its claim about how little evidence was lost in last April's data migration from the city secretary's office and the police department. Apparently, there's another 15 terabytes unaccounted for — beyond the eight terabytes already reported missing last week.
