  1. Yesterday, Dallas Fire-Rescue Department responded to more than 750 crashes in 24 hours due to the ice storm that coated Dallas roads in ice. Dallas officials opened a reserve homeless shelter due to the storm and housed about 700 people yesterday. According to public works, trash and recycling for the city will be picked up once the ice melts and the roads are clear. (WFAA.com)
  2. Dallas ISD schools are closed today, Feb. 2, due to the winter weather and icy road conditions. Classes will be held online today for Dallas College and Dallas Baptist University. A Winter Storm Warning and an Ice Storm Warning are in effect through this morning for the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. (Fox 4 News)
  3. For the past few years, the Whippersnapper, a Dallas bar, has been temporarily transforming its space and menu to celebrate a theme. Past themes include Game of Thrones, The Simpsons, and Friends. Starting Feb. 9, the bar will pay homage to Austin Powers with its new pop-up, the "Electric Shagadelic Pussycat Swingers Club." Visitors can celebrate the film comedy series starring Mike Myers with DJ nights, photo ops, and a costume party. (Dallas Observer)

On Jan. 31, at about 10:42 p.m., Daylin was last seen in the 9600 block of Forest Lane on foot.
