- Dallas was named the top downtown living experience in the United States according to a study conducted by StorageCafe. Comparing 30 of the most populous cities and looking at cost of living, apartment options, entertainment life, and more, Dallas came out on top for its "unique range of features and amenities." (WFAA)
- Dallas City Council is considering raising the rate of street parking in Dallas this summer. If the street parking and curb management proposal is adopted, areas like downtown Dallas could have street parking costing one dollar or more. If adopted, rates would rise over time by 25 to 50 cents. (KERA News)
- On Thursday, Jan. 19, a man was found shot after his SUV crashed in Dallas. Police responded to the crash around 11:00 p.m., where they found an SUV had hit a vehicle near the Mockingbird DART station and the man inside had been shot. The man later died from his injuries at the hospital. (WFAA)
