Dallas "Q" Convention Looks To Provide More Heat Than Light
Independent observers are being kept far from the closed doors of this weekend's "Patriot Roundup."

DALLAS, TX —The eyes of Texas will not be on this weekend's QAnon convention in Dallas.
In fact, according to The Dallas Observer, there won't be any independent observers on hand to fact check or relay what conspiracy theories might be spawned at the "For God & Country Patriot Roundup."
Anyone who knows the words to that old country song knows what that means.

Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard; a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
That's right. One of the first real signposts of "patriotism" is to shush non-believers — or better yet, prevent them attending at all. As the hippies used to say, no one likes a narc who's only there to harsh your buzz, man.
According to The Dallas Observer, QAnon Anonymous Podcast host Logan Strain applied to attend, but he was rebuffed by the organizers, who was told his presence would be "disruptive," given the less-than-favorable nature of his coverage in the past.

As Strain tells The Observer, “Given the biased nature of your coverage of the Q movement and the spreading of blatantly false information, we deem that your presence at the event would be potentially disruptive and could potentially result in a disturbance to the event.”
These were not press passes, mind you. These were tickets that Strain bought a month ago, but weren't rescinded until this week.
Dang that cancel culture!
Apparently neither the organizers nor the participants want t to be challenged while spreading the Gospel According to Q — namely that there's a "Deep State" controlling America, run by Hollywood Democrats and elites who moonlight as pedophiles. Oh, and of course, they all share a deep-seated loathing for the former president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
The FBI has categorized the QAnon movement as a terrorist threat to the nation.
The roundup is being run "QAnon John," aka John Sabal and his companion, Amy. Both have stated publicly that the free press is far too free to criticize the movement they are promoting. But the media can't criticize what they can't observe, can they? Sabal has promised that there will be "next to no" mainstream news coverage of the weekend's events, but numerous conservative outlets are on the guest list.
Set to speak at the festivities, former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, who suggested a few months back that the now-former president declare martial law in order to remain in power, and Sidney Powell, the lightning rod lawyer who recently admitted publicly spreading lies about Trump's loss in the 2020 election.
Also on hand for this weekend's patriot games: Lone Star State GOP chairman Allen West and East Texas Republican and U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert.
And since almost no one will be there who isn't either making or drinking the QAnon Kool-Aid, who's to say what will happen?
To quote the late country crooner Charlie Rich:
Oh, no one knows what goes on
Behind closed doors...
