  1. A Colorado warrant was issued for Dallas restauranteur William Hunter Pond, 36. Pond, the found and CEO of Vandelay Hospitality Group, is wanted on charged with harassment and disorderly conduct by the San Miguel County Sheriff's Office. Police ask anyone with information about Pond's whereabouts to call the issuing sheriff's office at 970-728-1911. (WFAA.com)
  2. A downtown 7-Eleven, which amassed 98 calls to 911 over the last three months, has closed. The 2008 Commerce Street location was the only convenience store in the area. Still, potential customers often avoided it due to constant litter from and congregations of people experiencing homelessness. Other storefronts in the same building are also boarded up.   3. Two older women in the Dallas area want Chase Bank to refund the money they say they were scammed out of. Shirley Ison-Newsome, 75, was targeted by someone alleging to be a Chase employee who then drained over $51,000 from her account. Phyllis Lopez, 69, was the target of a text scam where she lost $3,500 to "protect" her account. In both instances, the women thought Chase would help them, only to be told that since they authorized the transfers, there was nothing the bank could do. (Subscription: The Dallas Morning News)
