- Dallas restaurants have begun to reopen their doors after the North Texas freeze. The closures were meant to ensure the safety of employees and customers. Most restaurants are hoping to return to normal operations by this weekend. Consider calling ahead before traveling to your favorite Dallas restaurant. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
- A growing number of North Texas residents experienced power outages during the recent ice storm. According to Oncor, about 8,700 customers lost power in Dallas County. Overall, over 143,000 customers in North Texas lost power. Oncor reportedly brought extra workers in overnight to restore power. (Fox 4 News)
- The National Weather Service's Fort Worth office reports that well-traveled Dallas roads are fairly passable. The city's side streets are still questionable, however. Today's weather (40 degrees) should dramatically improve the city's road conditions. Proceed with caution when driving today. (D Magazine)

- The DFW Airport continues to remind travelers to check with airlines about flight status before heading to the airport. TSA checkpoints will also have longer wait times this week, so travelers are advised to arrive early. (DFW Airport via Facebook)
