Dallas Shooting: Man Allegedly Kills Female Supervisor, Himself In Office Building

The shooting took place early Monday afternoon in Dallas.

DALLAS, TX — Two people were killed in a shooting in Dallas Monday in a possible murder-suicide that took place in an office meeting room when a man allegedly shot his female supervisor and then killed himself.

Police responded to the 8300 block of LBJ Freeway Service Road around 10:45 a.m. for an active shooter call and when responding to the building found that the possible shooter was in a meeting room. Officers were forced to use a shotgun to breach the front office door.

A man and woman were found dead inside the interior meeting room, police said. Authorities believe the man shot the woman, his supervisor, and then killed himself, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Police conducted a sweep of the building and deemed it safe around 12:50 p.m.

One officer suffered minor injuries from broken glass when entering the building and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Neither of the victims have been identified.
