An Ex Is Coming To Texas: Former President Trump To Speak At CPAC

The 45th President of the United States will no doubt cause a stir when he brings his unique brand of populism to CPAC in Dallas next month.

DALLAS, TX — Brace yourselves. Next month, Donald Trump will address Dallas' 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference, according to the event organizers.

The news came — how else — in a tweet from the official CPAC account. It said simply, “President(sic) Donald Trump is joining us for #CPACTX to UnCancel America.”

The confab is scheduled to run from July 9 through July 11 and will also provide time at the podium for Matt Schlapp, the American Conservative Union Chair, conservative pundit Sara Carter and Trump's former HUD Secretary Ben Carson.

Trump will certainly have a lot to say about what's happened since he lost the 2020 election — including current state recounts, possible criminal charges, reports that he believes he could be "reinstated" by summer's end, and Facebook's two-year ban on his account for his role in instigating the Capitol insurrection in January.

Less than a week ago at a QAnon event held in Dallas, Trump associates floated the idea that a military coup "should happen," and that Trump could be returned to office if votes that were previously lost, switched or miscounted can be found in enough states.

Numerous recounts have already been performed however, and all of them show that the current President of the United States, Joe Biden, legitimately won his election by more than 7 million votes.
