UT Southwestern Medical Center has received an $18 million funding award from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to improve postpartum health outcomes among low-income Black and Hispanic women at high risk for complications. The study, led by principal investigator Dr. Elaine Duryea, will focus on utilizing technology to enhance access to maternal health care and reduce postpartum complications within six weeks of delivery.   2. Smart Asset's recent study has revealed the income required for comfortable living in the largest metro areas in the United States. The Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area ranks 17th on the list, indicating that it falls below the midpoint of the analyzed regions.
