  1. More than 50 suspected predators were arrested as part of a child porn and online solicitation investigation. Between Jan. 16 and Feb. 10, law enforcement agencies brought together computer crimes investigators to focus on the identification and rescue of children in communities who often fall prey to online predators. More than 30 law enforcement agencies were involved, saving 28 children from abusive situations. (CBS Dallas)
  2. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, The Cookie Box Creations design contest is returning Sunday, Feb. 26 from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Six teams of Girl Scouts in grades six through 12 will partner with local architects and engineers to build National Park-themed structures out of cookie boxes. Creations will be on display at Galleria Dallas through Mar. 26, allowing visitors to experience six national landmarks from across the United States without leaving their local community. The contest will take place at Galleria Dallas, 13350 Dallas Pkwy, level I near Sephora. (North Texas e-News)
  3. A North Texas couple is suing a Fort Worth fertility clinic they claim used the wrong sperm to conceive their children through in vitro fertilization. According to the lawsuit, Camille and Derrick Bryan turned to Fort Worth Fertility to help grow their family through IVF. Her eggs were harvested and his sperm was collected at the clinic. "How could your procedures be so bad, or how could someone violate your procedures so bad, that this could happen? It should never happen," said Tommy Hastings, one of the Bryans' attorneys.   • If you're an adult who's been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), you may qualify for a new clinical research study by Dallas-based FutureSearch Trials and Biohaven. According to a press release, the study will enroll approximately 2,000 participants from across the country, including some in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, between the ages of 18 and 65. Participants will receive adjunctive troriluzole or placebo for the treatment of OCD; then, researchers will rate the severity and type of symptoms the participants experience.
