Plane Crashes With Mechanical Issues In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, TX — A single-engine plane crashed near Fort Worth Meacham International Airport on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The plane, a Piper PA-28, crashed around 2:15 p.m., and the pilot was the only person on board, according to an agency spokesperson.

The plane experienced mechanical issues, and the pilot didn't suffer any injuries, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
