- A recent report by the sports-betting site Bookies.com found Texas ranked No. 6 when it comes to most-romantic states in the country. Texas fell behind West Virginia, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. (CW33 Dallas)
- The City of Dallas launched a new "Whole Home Dallas" program to help residents prepare their homes for extreme weather. The goal of the program is to spread awareness to Dallas residents of the resources available to help make their homes more energy efficient and resilient in extreme weather. - Dallas-based volunteerism nonprofit VolunteerNow has appointed a new chief executive officer. Rachel Currie Triska will succeed former CEO Tammy Richards who retired last year and is an experienced nonprofit innovator and strategist.
