Here are the top 3 stories in Dallas today:
- A DUI suspect hit two Dallas police officers in a car crash Monday morning. The accident occurred at 12:30 a.m. near North Field and Ross Avenue downtown. The driver and one officer were treated for non-life threatening injuries at the hospital, and one officer was treated on-site. Investigation is ongoing. (WFAA.com)
- Down the road in Plano, winning Powerball numbers have been drawn for a ticket purchased at RaceTrac on State Highway 121. Drawing took place on Feb. 25 and, if claimed, the winner will walk away with $2 million. The winning numbers were 11, 24, 58, 66, and 67 with the Powerball 26. (CW33 Dallas)
- The CultureMap Tastemaker Awards, which recognizes culinary stars in 11 different categories, will take place on May 4 at Fashion Industry Gallery. Attendees will be able to taste food from this years nominees and vote on Best New Restaurant in the online bracket tournament. The nominees for all categories are listed here.
