  1. Four people were killed and two suspects have been arrested after a shooting at a Dallas apartment over the weekend. Police said they responded to the incident around 7:10 p.m. on Sunday in the 3500 block of Villaverde Avenue, near the intersection of Marsh Lane and Forest Lane, in the Northwest Dallas area. Reports claim one of the suspects has been in a child custody dispute with one of the victims. (WFAA.com)
  2. Later this week, the storm system that is currently causing heavy rain, snow, and winds in California will move toward North Texas. There is a 30 percent chance of rain today (Mar. 4, but it will mostly be light showers. Things should dry out and warm up on Wednesday before more serious showers and storms arrive on Thursday.   3. Dallas-based institutional capital markets expert Jack Fraker is joining Newmark Group Inc. as president and global head of industrial logistics. The company states that Fraker has personally completed industrial capital markets transactions totaling 1.5 billion square feet and $85 billion in more than 60 U.S. cities, Mexico, Europe, Japan, and South America. Newmark states that by hiring Fraker, they're continuing to emphasize its commitment to its capital markets across verticals and grow its global presence. (dallasinnovates.com)

  • Homeschool Day at the Dallas Zoo is scheduled for Thursday, Mar. 23. Vote for your favorite t-shirt design this week — voting will officially close on Sunday, Mar. 19. The winning design will be the official 2023 Strut Your Mutt Dallas t-shirt.
