14 Migrants Injured In Crash Following Pursuit In Texas: Report
Medina County and Bexar County deputies pursued a pickup truck containing 16 people until it crashed on I-35 near San Antonio.
BEXAR COUNTY, TX — A pickup truck containing 16 people crashed on Interstate 35 southwest of San Antonio following a high-speed pursuit by police Sunday morning. The truck was transporting migrants, 14 of whom were injured, according to a report from KENS 5 San Antonio.
The pursuit started in Medina County and entered Bexar County around 8 a.m. before the truck rolled over near Kinney Road. The driver also was injured in the crash, and one person bailed out of the truck before the crash occurred, according to the report.
Two of the injured are in critical condition.
