  1. A wheelchair-bound woman was struck by a moving vehicle while chasing her dog into the street. She sustained a broken leg and head injuries due to her wheelchair falling onto its side from the impact. The incident happened on the 400 block of West Houston. The driver of the vehicle stopped to render aid and will not be facing criminal charges. Visit KENS5 for more.
  2. San Antonio's Dangerous Assessment Response Team is working on clearing out a "nuisance property." Neighbors have called in regarding a motel, Ever Kleen on Roosevelt, with worries that there is gang activity with guns and drugs involved. Several arrests were made on Tuesday with SWAT presence. Police say that there was illegal activity discovered but didn't go into further details. Visit KENS5 for the full story.
  3. The first Ukrainian school in San Antonio opened on Saturday at Our Lady of the Lake University. "The school will teach Ukrainian culture and language and will serve kids ages 4-12." Several organizations worked in collaboration with Councilwoman Adriana Rocha Garcia to make this happen. The center is to preserve Ukrainian culture, where about half of the children enrolled are refugees. For more information, visit Texas Public Radio.
