  1. House Bill 2127 would prevent San Antonio and other cities from enforcing laws like "evictions, employment benefits, or a host of other subjects." There are supporters and also those who oppose this bill noting that it is a way of having local control by the state. If the bill passes by Gov. Greg Abbott, it will take effect on Sept. 1. Lawmakers are concerned, as this bill is rather vague in what can or cannot be controlled on the state level. Visit KSAT San Antonio for more.
  2. San Antonio schools honored the memory of Robb Elementary's school shooting victims by lowering flags and sharing a photo of solidarity with the school's colors. Sen. Roland Gutierrez "who represents Uvalde, asked politicians to use this time to pass gun safety laws." Wednesday, May 24, marked the one-year anniversary of Uvalde's mass school shooting. Check KSAT San Antonio for more information.
  3. A brutal attack took place outside Heat Nightclub on April 18. A man was attacked, stabbed, then attacked again after a person in a truck ran him down. The victim survived however, San Antonio Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for help identifying the suspects involved. There are still images at 550 KTSA to work off of. "A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest."
