- A San Antonio man gets sentenced to 30 years in prison for an incident in 2021 that ended in his wife's death. Thirty-year-old Angel Sanchez had a no-contact order from his common-law-wife, Neida Tijerina, and showed up at her dwelling to hold her and three children hostage. After toying with police, Sanchez exited the apartment with his shotgun pointed at them. Officers fired shots at him in return, subsequently hitting Tijerina and killing her. - A man from San Antonio has been added to "America's Most Wanted" fugitive list. Forty-four-year-old Steven Clay Leifeste has the following charges: "Henderson County for two counts of sexual assault of a child, evading arrest, and a probation violation warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle in Bexar County." He has had multiple warrants for his arrest since 2021. Visit KSAT San Antonio for details on what law enforcement is looking for.
- Former SAISD trustee Patti Radle celebrated her retirement after serving 12 years on the board. She was celebrated by colleagues at "Lanier High School with music, food, and love." Radle noted that her time serving the community is far from over, as her and her husband will devote more time to their non-profit, Inner City Development. The organization serves the children of the West side. Learn more about this story at KENS5.
