TX Tornado In Wimberley Moves Out Of Area: NWS

Tornado warnings expired for Hays, Caldwell and Guadalupe counties.

WIMBERLEY, TX β€” Tornado warnings for Hays, Caldwell, Guadalupe and Gonzales counties have expired after a tornado moved through the area Monday evening.

A tornado was confirmed over Wimberley on Monday at around 5:35 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

NWS issued a tornado warning for central Hays County that has since expired. Another tornado warning expired for southern Caldwell County, northeastern Guadalupe County and northeastern Gonzales County.

It is unclear if the tornado caused any structural damage in the area. As of 7:30 p.m., nearly 2,000 customers in Guadalupe County were without power, according to poweroutage.us.
