  1. A Ukrainian woman in San Antonio hopes to raise $6,000 in funds through her bakery business, to support Ukraine's military during the current war. Olena Romanko's believes her husband is still "imprisoned in Russian-occupied Crimea." Romanko's also concerned about her mother's well being in her hometown, Oleshky, which is now underwater after a dam was destroyed. (KENS5.com)
  2. A San Antonio man was sentenced to 19-years in federal prison on child pornography charges, and required to pay $30,000 in restitutions. Thomas McKay Beck "used peer-to-peer file sharing software to distribute 14 CSAM files." There were sexually-explicit videos of children of different ages on Beck's computer. Beck plead guilty to two counts of indictment. (KSAT San Antonio)
  3. San Antonio food writer Chuck Blount died after being diagnosed with a chronic condition. Blount was an integral part of the San Antonio Express-News team. He covered barbecue competitions, made beer reviews on social media. Blount also wrote food, drink, sports, and poker columns for the publication. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
