SUGAR LAND, TX — In a rarity, all Chick-fil-A locations nationwide, including in Sugar Land, will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 25 and 26 this year.

Chick-fil-A is always closed on Sundays, but this year they will close Saturday, Dec. 25 as well, as it is Christmas Day. The founder of Chick-fil-A, Truett Cathy, who is now deceased, was a devout Baptist.

The restaurant chain is known for being closed on Sundays so employees can rest and attend church.
