Students at The Honor Roll School Celebrate National Reading Month

Students held a book drive, participated in a 'March Book Madness' program and more in celebration of National Reading Month.

Students at The Honor Roll School in Sugar Land recently participated in a variety of reading-focused initiatives to celebrate National Reading Month, including a March Book Madness, in which third graders read books from a variety of genres throughout the month of March and voted to determine the 2023 Book of the Year. Students also held a book donation drive and met bestselling children’s book author Alice Perez during her visit to the school. The Honor Roll School’s reading initiatives engaged students and promoted learning and literacy during National Reading Month.
