ACROSS AMERICA — 2023 is coming to a close and the year was filled with plenty of pop culture moments we soon won't forget.

It was nearly impossible to miss the headlines on Taylor Swift this year. From topping the music charts, re-releasing old albums, running one of the highest grossing music tours of the year and dating NFL star Travis Kelce, Taylor arguably had a busy 2023. With all the news she has made this year it's not hard to see why she was named TIME's Person of the Year.

Taylor Swift wasn't the only person with a popular music tour this year. Beyoncé also had a successful tour for her most recent album Renaissance which, just like Taylor, also had an accompanying concert film.

Speaking of movies, Oppenheimer and The Barbie Movie were box office gold. The two movies were released on the same weekend in July and had theatergoers queueing up for a double feature event, known as "Barbenheimer".

The year also saw the release of several salacious tell-all books. Prince Harry's book "Spare" revealed details about his current relationship with his father. While Britney Spears' "The Woman in Me" spoke about her tumultuous time in the spotlight at the height of her career and her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
