The Wall Street Journal reports Evans, a Massachusetts native, put his roughly 4,600-square-foot home in the Hollywood Hills on the market for $6.995 million. The Marvel star paid $3.52 million for it in 2013.

The four-bedroom property boasts a number of exciting features, including a gym where Evans trained for his "Captain America" film roles and stunning views of Mulholland and Laurel canyons and the Santa Monica mountains, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Evans' home is tucked away on a celebrity-loved street and not only features spacious bedrooms and a Marvel-worthy gym, but also a gourmet kitchen, a beautiful outdoor entertaining area and an in-ground pool, according to TMZ.

The home is listed by Christie's International Real Estate Southern California.

People reports Evans is planning to move to the East Coast to be closer to family and spend more time in the area where he grew up, according to a listing agent.

According to People, Evans married his now-wife, actress Alba Baptista, in September 2023. The two then held a star-studded party at their Boston-area home with many famous guests, including "Iron Man" star Robert Downey Jr. and "Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth.

Us Weekly reported in January 2023 that Evans and Baptista were already spending most of their time at the actor's Massachusetts home, located near his hometown of Sudbury, enjoying a quieter lifestyle surrounded by nature.

Celebrities Sell Their Homes

Evans is most well-know for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Steve Rogers/Captain America, having starred in three solo Cap films and four massive "Avengers" crossover films, the most recent of which, 2019's "Avengers: Endgame," is one of the highest grossing films of all time. He officially retired from the role that same year.

He has also cameoed in other Marvel films, including "Thor: The Dark World," "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Deadpool & Wolverine."

Aside from his Marvel role, Evans has also starred in a number of beloved films spanning multiple genres, including "Not Another Teen Movie," "Fantastic Four," "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," "Knives Out," "The Gray Man" and the holiday action movie "Red One."

In 2022, Evans also took on the role of Buzz Lightyear for the "Toy Story" space adventure spin-off film "Lightyear" from Pixar Animation Studios.

Evans is certainly not the only celebrity to recently put their stunning home on the market.

Earlier this month, "Annie Hall" and "The Godfather" star Diane Keaton knocked $1.4 million off the $27.5 million price tag of her Pinterest-inspired Los Angeles home.

In Connecticut, "Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel listed her Greenwich home, which was built in 1743, for sale off-market last month as she makes a move to Florida.

Nearby in New Canaan, Conn., a 12-bedroom home recently rented out by iconic pop star Mariah Carey and featured in one of her music videos was listed for sale earlier this year.
